Refunds and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with us. The True Taboo Bookshop is an online store operated by Margot Scott and her team. We value your satisfaction and want to ensure a smooth purchasing experience. Please review our refund policy outlined below.

1. Digital items: We regret to inform you that refunds are not available for digital items, including ebooks. If you purchased an ebook and did not receive an email from BookFunnel with your download link, you can get your book from your BookFunnel library: https://my.BookFunnel.com. Your username login is automatically set to the email address you inputted when purchasing the ebook.

If you encounter any issues with the delivery of an ebook you’ve purchased, please visit https://bookfunnel.com/help/ for assistance. You can also reach out to Margot Scott and the True Taboo Bookshop at orders@margotscottauthor.com. We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly.

2. Signed Physical Books: Refunds for signed books are at the discretion of Margot Scott and the True Taboo Bookshop. If you believe you have a valid reason for requesting a refund, please contact orders@margotscottauthor.com within 14 days of receiving the book.

IMPORTANT: ALL international print sales are final and not eligible for a refund.

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met (US readers only):

– The book you received must differ significantly from the book you originally ordered.
– The book must be in its original condition, without any damages or signs of wear.
– The book must be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Please note that the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

3. Non-delivery of Physical Books: If you are shipping to a US address and have not received your physical book within 60 days from the date of purchase, and there is proof of shipment, Margot Scott and the True Taboo Bookshop will gladly reship your book at no additional cost. Books shipped outside the United States are ineligible for free reshipments. 

4. Refund Requests for Non-delivered Physical Books (US only): In the event that more than 90 days have passed since the purchase of a physical book, and the book has not been delivered to your US address despite proof of shipment, you may request a full refund from Margot Scott and the True Taboo Bookshop. We will initiate the refund process and work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Please note the following important points:

– Refunds are processed using the original payment method used for the purchase.
– Refunds for non-delivered physical books are subject to verification of the shipment status, proof of purchase, and at the discretion of Margot Scott and the True Taboo Bookshop.
– Refunds may take up to 30 days to process from the date of approval.
